just gone 40 recently if i'm right...anyone know if he's still involved in the sport in any way ?

of all the fights i have watched over the years...the 2 british title fights with francis ampofo {they fought 3 times} are definite highlights...tough tough fights..

I dont know what Robbie is up to these days, but its a shame he had to retire for health reasons, won his last couple of fights and was set up to make some real money

he fought Francis Ampofo in his 2nd fight,no one can say Robbie Regan was protected,i think Francis took something from him,he got paid about £200 to fight Francis the first time, talk about having to fight your way up the hard way sums up Robbie Regans career

Correct - he obviously went off the rails when his career was over.

I remeber Regan sitting ringside with a rolled up fight card in his hand stressed out clutching it tightly and anxiously as he willed on every little punch his fellow Welshman Steve Robinson landed it was desperation as Naseem Hamed took over and outclassed him brutally
