Michael Buffer only makes 3-5k per fight?

Other than announcing fights what would his "own thing" be? Yelling "lets get ready to rumble" on street corners for change?

 

or maybe announcing school yard brawls

 

He owns a company selling lot's of stuff like mugs,caps,Tshirts etc all with the emblem" Let's get ready to Rumble" he was recently operated from cancer. With his tuxedo image and trademark phrase he is an icon on any major fight and very rich his company has made over 400 millions also very popular in Europe.

look, I've worked the shows, and I've seen the checks with my own eyes. Disagree all you want. And if you READ the article you linked to, it clearly states "Buffer SAID he has made over $400 million".

I can SAY I made $400 million too, but that sure doesnt make it so. lol.

 

If its true then I was way off in my assumption. But I doubt he makes that little.

 

I would think he would make more.

 

5K per day its 10K per week ... so around $500 K per year ... 20 years
of hard work and you have 10 mln bucks just over the weekends.

He propably takes some bargain type job during the weektime so he
earned like 20-30 mln ... not bad.

 

5k AND living and travel expenses is "little".. you've got to be joking.

I'd take that ANY DAY.

 

Plus i feel he could ask for more now, i mean if he is worth $400m like he says, then 5k isnt going to be much.

 

I noticed that too.

Plus, the Germans treat him with a lot of respect, like a boxing authority. I've seen him being interviewed pre- and post fight what he thought about it, and all that. And they were all saying how they were happy he recovered from a surgery operation he'd undergone.

 

It was probably 2-5k in early 90s late 80s. I heard he is worth 75 mill +

 

Well... if it's little for a top boxer, why wouldn't it be little for the most famous announcer on the planet today?
