Michael Buffer only makes 3-5k per fight?

Im curious what lampley or kellerman makes ???

 

factor in how many fights he's doing per year ... then add the fact that his segment of the fight is the most important and it only takes a few minutes.

3-5k per fight is a good base pay for a few minutes ... i'm sure he ends up making 6 figures a year with maybe a total of a few hours worth of work.

 

Michael Buffer does indeed own the trademark on those words and protects that trademark very aggressively, apparently he sues any imposters.

With that being said I have seen the 400 million number floating around hut in diffrent contexts, Net retail sales, net worth...etc

Personally I don't see him making 5K for a fight it has to be much more, the referee makes at least 2K, I'm not sure if he announces all the fights on a card but I wouldn't be surprised if Michael made between 15-30K per night plus expenses and whatever other stipulations he has...

 

na ... refs and judges don't make much money either ... I doubt they would pay buffer much more money. I read that he used to be under contract with TopRank back in the day and still does a majority of TopRank fight cards.

His pay also probably varies with the event ... you have small venues and then you have big venues ... i'm sure he gets paid a base of 3-5k per fight ... and probably more than that on bigger events.

 

Nope he didnt even say he made 400m. What that article says is that his voice has been used on stuff like games which have all together totalled 400m gross. His cut would be a tiny fraction of that.

Add to this his occasional WWE pay day. And he had a 3-4 year long stretch in WCW which was twelve PPVs a year and most Monday nights.

 

Point is that Micahel Buffer has made millions throughout his career which spans about 25 yrs ...

 

I read somewere years ago he gets 50k sterling for a nights work. Dont forget buffer does the weigh in as well
