    Tapia? Damn...you're right man. I guess we tend to focus more on popularity than actual charisma. As an American, its also hard to gauge a fighter's charisma when you don't speak their language so with respect to guys like Freitas and Casamajor that someone mentioned earlier, I would never know how charismatic they really are because of the language barrier. :good

    Popo, Mayorga (though not in a positive way), Arce, Hatton. If he can get popular, Juanma Lopez has charisma oozing out of his pores.

    He is an ATG boxing champ considered the most exciting boxer today. Politician. Presenter. Promoter. Singer(?). Actor. Hero.

    He makes guys like Naseem pale in comparison. Charisma attracts and thats what he does.

    Pac is certainly popular but his popularity is very limited to a certain demopgraphic.

    Naz carried himself as a much bigger star and was much more charismatic.

    How so? Naz prime was nowhere near as popular in his home country of UK than Pac was at his home country. Not even close. On top of that, US an even playing field. Pac has already broken ppv records at 135 and below, has the highest attendance record ever in vegas for the lightweight fights and is the highest paid lightweight fighter. Ever.

    Pac makes people like him and creates haters out of it. Just look at the forums, he is the most talked about single fighter in any boxing forum.

    They all have different kinds of charisma or charm:


    I think Tyson is popular because of he is exciting and is controversial.

    Pac to me is boring, but he's popular because of his achievements and because he's a good guy.

    Same for De la Hoya. He's popular because he's a pretty face and a nice guy.

    Ricky Hatton is a humble and down to earth man. But he doesn't have great personality.

    The best answer here would be: Tito Trinidad. Another one would be Roy Jones.

    Morales was huge in Mexico in the last ten years. His crowd pleasing style and wanting to please the fans at all times did it.
    However worldwide it has to be Oscar. The dude has exciting fights, is good looking, and is a celebrity.
