Sucka or Scurla, can any of you guys give me an honest opinion if Castillo is 'past his best' or 'shot' or if hes still in his prime?

The reason I ask you two is because you cant trust a Hatton fan. They, like Ricky would tell you Castillo is a monster & P4P great right now.

I have argued with you two in the past, thats how I know you guys will give me an honest opinion. Reson I ask, is that I havent seen Castillo fight for a while, so am wondering what hes going to be like come fight time. I see hatton is massive bookies favourite to win, which leaves me wondering just what kind of Castillo is coming to this fight.

I think there's a certain amount of arrogance in claiming some sort of Mexican affinity, considering his next opponent Castillo is actually a Mexican great.

What's he gonna do next? Come out to the ring on Saturday dressed in a sombrero and Mexican colours like PBF did vs ODLH?

I agree. I always thought if someone was to fight a scotsman & come to the ring with a kilt on, I would feel pretty angry.

& Guess what, that arrogant piece of **** Guzman was going to come into the ring against Harrison with a kilt on:-(

So when I seen Hatton calling himself a 'manchester mexican' I immediately thought that was so disrespectful to Castillo, & mexicans in general. Hatton is so arrogant, it defies belief. & for those hatton fans who defend his actions? Think before you reply this time.

I think esp with the yanks ,they hate Ricky Hatton cos he doesn`t quite fit the criteria of a world champ fighter. One thing i think is cos he`s British, being white and at the level he is,so slag him off as a pub fighter. When for instance Floyd Mayweather with all his great skills was never really a coming forward bang bang type,he liked to dance around the ring a bit.Hatton likes to hold quite a lot admittedly, but he is the agressor come forward type and wants it toe to toe.So in comparison Hattons not a bad fighter.

hatton is so arrogant it defies belief?

thats pretty arrogant then. he doesn't seem it. its not like he came up with the Manchester Mexican thing himself. The Guzman kilt scenario is different unless a load of scottish people publically announced they thought Guzman fought like a Scot.

Hatton haters on here seem to have a much more extreme opinion than Hatton fans. I haven't seen one post on here (although I might have missed it) who thinks Castillo is a monster and P4P great.

I personally think Castillo is a good fighter, not shot but still past his best. And given other active fighters around at the moment, he probably would just about make my p4p top ten or fifteen.

    Be realistic.

Castillo isnt shot by any means but his certainly far from his best. The guy has had at least 60 plus fights and turned pro around the age of 15.His a battle hardened vet who has been in many a war with many a quality opponent. His not close to being a "great" mexican fighter and nor is he a P4P great.Thats just more Ricky Hatton bilge.I dont really care for this match as in the grand scheme of things at 140 it means nothing. Ricky should be looking north to 47 or looking to unify ALL belts at 140.His done neither so far.

You miserble ****s can't even enjoy a fight that promises to be a proper toe to toer - already covering all angles to say 'he was ****' or 'he was shot' - simple internet journo/generals/know nish muppets.

Who the **** do some of you on here think you are? Watch the fight - try to enjoy it through your black painted glasses and comment on it as you see fit - but stop fukkin whingeing - PLEASE :patsch :patsch

You take the guy way too seriously dunky.... but its you and the other Hatton haters loss because while your (collectively) busy pulling the guy up on everything he says and does- we are looking forward to whats sure to be a decent fight between the 2 most proven fighters operating at 140. I can't convince you not to dislike Hatton but your unwarrented critisms just ruin it for yourselves and as far as the grand scheme of things at 140 are concerned Hatton is the undisputed number one regardless of who's got which piece of shite strapped around there waist- therefore we are watching the division number one take on the former lightweight number one so its pretty significant in my eyes..... but then I am only a Hatton fan so I probably know nothing about boxing.
