Great match. Smokin' Joe coming out hard against Bowe's Height & reach advantage. Could Bowe keep Frazier at bay? 12 Rounds.

Wow this is a tough one... First, I am a huge Joe Frazier fan. And I like Bowe too. Could Frazier work his way past Bowe`s jab and fluid combination punching? How would he deal with Bowe`s power? On the other hand, could Bowe deal with Joe `Smokin` all night long? His debilitating body attack? Bowe fought well on the inside with Holy, but trying to work inside with Joe Frazier is a hell all its own. If Bowe`s condtion is off even a little, he would get worked over pretty good. But, if he`s in tip top shape, he could pose some real physical problems for Frazier. The BIG question is, which corner would Eddie Futch work???

Frazier by KO inside 10 rounds. Bowe is a talented inside fighter as well, but he'd wilt under the body attack Frazier would bring to the fight.

Bowe was big puncher. More skilled than Foreman. Faster. Better stamina, and well equipped with a top uppercut. I think he would defeat Frazier, who as far as I can tell on film didn't hit much harder than Holyfield did.

Wow this match-up is tougher than I thought to predict but no fighter can keep Frazier at bay for 12 rounds he always had a way of fighting on the inside somehow,Bowe would have to land that famous uppercut he hit Evander with in the 10th round of their first bout to even make Frazier weary of trying to come close. As this thread goes along and I see others points of views of this fantasy fight then I'll probably come to a conclusion.

Great Fight, I Imagine Ali/Fraizer III all over again.... (Type of fight)
Bowe's wars with Evander kinda give us a glimpse into this potential.

Toss up, But I have to go with Joe.

Frazier would stop him this would be the first time Bowe met someone who is better then him on the inside and Riddick defence was terrible he was always open. If Bowe used his reach to great effect he might win but he hardly ever he loved to brawl look how many clean left hook Evander landed on him and even dropped him with one in there third fight if Frazier landed as many he would have destroyed Bowe. Frazier via KO championship rounds.

I thnks that's the key! The upercut is a devistating weapon against Frazier. If Frazier gets hurt, he has a slow recovery time. Bowe could take full advantage like Foreman did. But Bowe has to withstand intense pressure to land his own punches.

Frazier would eventually get inside after losing a few rounds and break through that leaky defense. I'll go with Frazier TKO 11.

Holyfield had a much better chin than Frazier did. I tend to doubt Frazier could take Bowe's punches. Frazier also was a bit of a slow starter, and was only dangerous up close and with the hook. There is no way for Frazier to win on the outside, and on the inside, I think Bowe could do as well to.

But the key word is that he was 'just" a big puncher.

He wasn't one of the most powerful HW hitters of all time, and therefore more then likely isn't stopping Frazier.

Frazier wins this. It's a tough fight though, and probably even on the cards going into the 11th, maybe Bowe has a slight lead. But Frazier takes him out late.

Frazier was a much harder puncher than Holy. His signature left hook was nasty, ask Ali. And I think people tend to go overboard with regard to Frazier`s chin. Getting stopped by Big George Foreman, certainly doesn`t mean you have bad whiskers. His only true stoppage losses(Ali loss was stopped by Futch). I think Bowe was the best infighting big man I ever saw(Futch trained). But I see hom outwoked inside by Frazier. Bowe`s shot, would be at a distance, and yes with the uppercut...
