Why is there so much hate for Kessler?

I don't notice any hate towards Kessler. There was a short period of time when Miranda fans felt that Kessler was ducking him but that's the only thing that comes to mind. Sometimes when assessing Joe Calzaghe's resume people say things like "Kessler was nothing" or the old "Kessler is overrated" but I think that's the result of hatred for Calzaghe, which runs rampant on this board. Kessler's a likeable guy and a good fighter. What's there to hate?

Care to elaborate on this one mate? You mean dodging the great Edison Miranda? He isn't worth a pinch of ****. He took a break after his first ever loss (to a great fighter), had a quality fighter pull out of their fight, and had to fight a mandatory, and now has to fight another.

Not a great year, but hardly dodging all the best fights, im sure next year things will happen, and if they don't, then you will have something to ***** and moan about.

What were these best fights he was dodging? He made a mistake in not taking the Miranda fight, not because Miranda is a quality fighter, but because he was hyped in the American scene. So thats one fight he should have taken, and not because it was going to prove he was top tier or anything, just to get more exposure to the American market.

I would love to see Kessler fight Dawson. Can you say "Mundine II?"

No its a reflection of how TV networks have no interest in showing thier fights. Mundine is yet to have a fight shown in the States, and Andrade despite fighting out of States has only had a few fights shown...So to call someone ignorant if they dont know who they are, is.......well ignorant:blurp

After watching Andrade fight Mack I think that Kessler did show weakness, he has no power. I know that he won that fight by TKO but he was hurt and even dropped in that fight, Kessler couldnt even hurt him. Mundine is a JOKE, he is a talented guy, but he isnt a fighter, the guy has fought like three or four times this year and no one cares because he only fights bums...AND I MEAN

    BUMS
