SRL by KO. SRL had a solid Chin. Roy's Chin is total glass.

Roy,because the weight suits him far better. In terms of talent there is little to choose between them.

Two of my favorites fighters of all time. Jones wins this, too big and strong for SRL at that weight. Wide UD or possible late TKO

You are all ****in crazy....Easy UD for SRL....just different class..when did you ever see Roy go towards death and back to win a fight?...
The only way Roy could win is if they fought now... 2008...

BTW...I believe Ray would have beaten John Ruiz also.....

False. He's simply bigger and more natural at the weight.

    Yes, different class.

Roy Jones= peaked in the 168 lb weight class (day before weigh-ins)
Sugar Ray Leonard= peaked in the 147 lb weight class (day of the fight weigh-ins).

    A great super-middle/light-heavy should beat a great welter/jr. middle.

Roy UD, or maybe a stoppage.

Spot on. SRL was the better all-round fighter P4P.

I am sure I have a wider knowledge of boxing history than you son..try your debating technique on a serious site like boxrec...really...you will be surprised to learn the opinions of people who actually saw SRL.... debate is interesting...calling someones opinion not very bright..is ..well... a bit sad...

I respect your opinion...I just happen to believe that Ray was a great 168lb fighter also...circumstances made it that he did not have many fights there..so what?
I believe that either Ray or Tommy Hearns at 168 would have been a beast that would have beaten Roy Jones...size really does not mean all that much when we discuss all time great fighters...

BTW...I do rate Roy Jones...probably top 10 of all time IMO...
