yeah im delusional but not as bad as u thinking that margo is a atg admitted the guy got lucky and u will see that the first week of june of 09

 

I dont think Margarito is an all time great and he didnt get lucky. He had a better game plan and Cotto fell short. Keep on being in denial. :hi:

I agree,and im impressed that Cotto has the balls to walk back into the unstoppable Margarito threshing machine.
Once would be enough for me.
He needs a good camp to even stand a chance of proving us wrong.

 

how about margo eyes did he just put make up on them to lure de la hoya to fight him or cotto did that, with a little more stamina cotto will make margo look foolish for the whole 12 rounds

While cotto can still win in this rematch, chances are not in his favor. What becomes even more cruical is the opponent cotto is going to fight before this rematch.

 

Margarito has to be favored.

But anyone who says Cotto can't do this, is a fool.

He did it for 6 rounds, folks. Much kudos to Margarito for rallying, but Cotto can make some changes that would make such a rally MUCH more difficult.

This fight is gonna be rough on both men.

 

It's a bad idea to make the rematch so soon after taking that terrible beating. Margo will just stop him even sooner and more violently in the rematch if it's in June.

Cotto ideally needs a couple of fights against top competition to re-establish his confidence if he wants more than a snowball's chance in hell of winning.

 

i respect both of these fighters but they r overrated...the welter weights of the late 90's and early 2000's like tito, DLH, mosley would'lve destroyed them

I watched the first few rounds of the fight last night, and though Cotto was winning them, he was getting tagged with serious leather. Cotto has 2 big weaknesses against Marg., a mediocre @ best defense, and stamina issues. Those will be difficult deficiencies to overcome. At this point I'm favoring Marg. by mid-round stoppage. Of course there's always the chance that the Cotto fight may have shortened the shelf life of his Margs. prime and will make Cotto a prophet with his statement "Marg. won the battle but I will win the war" (paraphrased). Then again, Cotto's shelf life may be close to expired.
