Is Mayorga a boxer ? Shane looked a lot better against cotto that was at least a fight Berto looked good I think he needs to calm done a bit if he gets in with someone like Cotto he's gonna get tagged

 

I dont see why so many have Mayo winning? Grappling, and whining dont get scored now do they?

Mosley was landing the punches, didnt look very impressive though, he was very frustrated with Mayorgas bull****, you could see it.

 

Shane was landing the harder shots in nearly every round, he was clearly ahead on points.

Awesome finish. Margarito is much more conventional than Mayorga so we can't really tell how that would play out, but remember that Mayorga came in at 170lbs for this fight, which is utter bull****, and Mosley hadn't fought in a year. I'd pick Margarito to win for sure, but by no means would I rule Shane out, even now when he's clearly past his best. BTW, I'm sure Mosley would have said in the interview that he wants Margarito if Margo wasn't basically already scheduled to fight Cotto next summer, he's 37 and if Margo-Cotto II happened next summer he wouldnt' get a shot until a year from now.

 

I must of been watching a different fight coz i had Mayorga 106-105 up going into the last, doesnt matter anyway coz he ****ed around and got dropped.

 

Sky sports had Mayorga well ahead. I thought he dictated the tempo of the fight, the action was so fast and sloppy it's hard to tell who connected. Mosley landed sharper, Mayo landed a lot and imposed his will. I had Mayorga ahead, but mostly out of shock, it's like I was expecting him to lose badly, so when he didn't, I gave him the round. If we had no idea who these guys were I'd probably score it for Mosley.


I had a HUGE bet, HUGE like 6x the size of a regular bet, on Mosley to win by knockout. I actually went into my spreadsheet and removed 350$ from my balance, while in the background I hear some strange hollering, I look over and Mayo is flat on his back. This was absolutely INCREDIBLE, im almost scared to check boxrec, like this never really happened.

 

Unbelievable finish. That must be a record.

Shane looked bad against a guy that he was supposed to uttorly dominate.It's a shame for Mayorga's real effort.
