Fair enough that changes things a little. As I said I didn't start this thread, it was started in the Brit forum - I thought it a good one so moved it into here.

1. Roy Jones Jr 2. Lennox Lewis 3. Floyd Mayweather Jr 4. Oscar De La Hoya 5. Marco Antonio Barrera 6. Bernard Hopkins 7. Manny Pacquiao 8. Erik Morales 9. Joe Calzaghe 10. Evander Holyfield Rankings from 4-9 are tight. Hopkins and Calzaghe for example had quite similar careers so far. Long reigns with Calzaghe's slightly longer. Both have won titles at LHW as well. Hopkins's best wins are over smaller men an they both have met one really good PRIME fighter (Joe in Kessler and Hopkins in Roy). Hopkins lost his prime fight, whereas Joe won - however since Roy is perhaps th greatest fighter over the last 20 years, it doesn't necessarily tell us that Hopkins lost because he is not as good as Joe. All in all - quite similar. However, I put Morales and Pac as squeezing in between them. Barrera imo. is better than Pac and Morales. They mainly have the names they do because of Barrera and he gave it to them when he was no longer prime. And no - no Trinidad. He is in my 11-20 list. Kostya Tszyu is also in line.

Evander won two rounds out of twelve, three if you're very generous. There is no-one with a shred of credibility who thinks that fight was a draw. It is generally accepted as one of the greatest robberies of the past twenty years or so.
Yes, that is why I stated that Lewis was robbed - but it still doesn't change the fact that technically it was a draw. By the way, where is your list?
Lewis continues to be grossly overrated on this site. Only top level HW champion knocked out early twice in the heart of his career by second-rate fighters.
It changes whether or not I'm willing to count it in assessing the greatness of Holy. I haven't made a list for 1995 onwards. When you say top 10, do you mean bu skill level, by resume, by who I like, or what ? And how do you weight those components ?

Roy Jones is too low.... And to think Tarver and Johnson are the only real competition Roy faced from 95 on, you need to do some research. Roy beat fighters that beat Tarver and Johnson, so its not like Roy wasn't facing their caliber, he simply got old and they were there at the right place and time.:deal
1. RJJ 2. ODLH 3. Lennox Lewis 4. Pacman 5. PBF 6. Barrera 7. Morales 8. Tito 9. JMM 10. Calzaghe Something along those lines.
