Povetkin's aggression and coming forward style will be met with resistance, to say the least. I am interested in seeing how aggressive Povetkin is after the left jab and hook catches him a few times. Wlad's left hand, alone, will keep Povetkin resetting and it'll start to breank him down, til the right hand is wheeled out to close the show.
I want to see some good reff in this fight. One that will not let Wlad hold after every punch that Povetkin is going to land. I am 100% that Wlad tactic for this this fight will be just that. I don't want to see another LEWIS VS TYSON. I hope reff will do his job in this fight
No one...........I repeat NO ONE will ever beat Wladimir on points! Hes is far to superior in all ways to any fighter out there. But...........of course: He can loose to any fighter who is not even on top 20 by way of KO. He cannot take a good punch. But loosing on point wil just never ever happen! Guaranteed!!
Wladimir's problem isn't his chin, it's his stamina and mental state. He's only really been knocked out once when he had his legs under him by Sanders and Povetkin doesn't have anywhere near that kind of power.
EXACTLY the way I see it. Povetkins offense will be out the door once he gets a feel for that Wlad hard ass jab and left hooks.
I have t disagree on the stamina thing. Wlad bonked in two of his fights, yes. However, world class endurance athletes sometimes bonk as well. The world's best triathlete, McCormack, totally blew apart in his first four Hawaii ironman races, does that mean he has bad stamina? Wlad has run 10k under 40 minutes, which is awesome for a 240pound guy. He best round against Peter, his toughest fight that he won, was the 12th. He has a mortal chin and isn't naturally tough like Vitali or Peter, but his problems tend to get overly emphasized here.
Wlad's stamina has been fine for a while now. I do not understand why people keep bringing it up it is in the past. He just went 12 with Sultan and then KOed Thompson in the 11th round. Fighters with no stamina do not score KO's in the 11th round.
Povetkin is tough, and as good as he's faced in a long time, but he lacks a tad of pro experence, and not quite as explosive as he should be. Wlad by Ko10-11.
