The reason why it's easy for Margo to avoid Williams now is because of the BS hype job HBO did with Cotto. Because Cotto was built up so much, once Margo KO'd him, Margo instantly became 'The Man,' even if he had the loss to Williams on his record.

Of course, Williams' losing to Quintana in their first bout didn't help Paul's profile any. And that loss came after The Punisher beat Margo. So, it took some of the luster from Williams' victory over Margarito away.

And here we are, with Margo being able to avoid Williams now and still able to be seen as "The Man" at WW.

Blame it on HBO and Cotto. If people hadn't bought the hype so hard about Miguel, then Margarito wouldn't have gotten so much glory for pounding down a guy that he's so much larger than.

I can't wait until Margarito-Williams II. I like Margarito, but have full respect for Paul Williams. He's probably the only WW in the world that can beat Margarito.

 

Talking about Hopkins only today I thought that

Hopkins lost twice to Taylor
Taylor lost twice to Pavlik
What if Pavlik will lose twice to Hopkins ??
