    He took an easy southpaw tune-up in january for Dawson too,against Pineda.He likes easy toon-ups I guess,and he looked good with Dawson

    Not only did he look good agains Dawson, He beat Dawson and got robbed. One of the posts actually questioned his training for a tune up fight. Let me tell you that Glen Johnson always trains for his fights. THat should never be in question. I just think that Dawson should have manned up and gave Glen a rematch before going after sorry ass Tarver.

    He's not trying to build up a rematch. He's trying to keep active. He's an old man, and if he doesn't fight pretty regularly, he'll probably fade faster.

    He deserves to have a tune up to stay busy. Hell, he's fought just about everybody.

    Its just a little tune-up. Until the 60's where belts multiplied, fighters did it all the time.
