I only made three points on it...

    1. There are serious unanswered questions.

    2. The 9/11 commision report is in itself a conspiracy theory (19 arabian hi-jackers conspired to hijack the planes)

    3. Finally, why is anybody who questions the events, or desires more information treated shamefully...???

I stand by those few comments...and I wasn't expecting it either, I was ready to talk boxing...but it's all good.

As far as coming back from a long layoff, and overcoming chronic injuries, yes, it is impressive. As far as the opponent, no big deal, Peter, like most of todays heavyweights, is a schmo.
Ali coming back after almost 4 years out and beating Jerry Quarry rather easily, stands as the one of the most impressive comebacks ever. Leonard unretiring to beat Hagler is the best ever.

If Vitali is fit and can shake off the ring rust then he should take this limited but keen fighter to the cleaners. The ifs are there, but if, I would proclaim this as one of the best comebacks in HW history, considering his excellent record and KO record.

I hope he does it and I expect him to KO Peter within 8 rounds.

I think Vitaly will quit fighting again when he wins that title. He and his bro will than have fullfiled their dream and that was all he is heading for.

Without a doubt. Who has been off for 3.5 years, had injuries, and won a title back with NO warm up fights at age 37+ vs a champion in his prime?

    The answer is no man.

If Vital wins, it will be an all time come back.

    (ahem)

Did Foreman, when coming back, fight, right off the bat, a titleholder, without any tomato can tuneups?

    QUick answer........NO!

Foreman's accomplishment was amazing, but it was a few YEARS in the making, for him to work his way all the way up from the bottom of the barrel.

Vitali is fighting the world's number TWO fighter, WBC champio Peter, BOOM, right out of the gate.

    HUGE difference in difficulty.

Given the circumstances, Vitali's comeback, if successful, will be, without question, one of the most impressive in heavyweight boxing history.

Of course If Vitaly beats Peter it won't be in the same realm as other great comebacks like the aformentioned Foreman comeback or the Lupe Pintor comeback where he took a 3 year break and eventually won the WBC title. But if or when Vitali beats Peter it will be a very good comeback in its own right because of the issues he had in previous trys at attempted comebacks with him injuring himself.

    I absolutely agree.
George Foremans career comeback post-87 is seriously tarnished with the gifts he got:deal

Leonard vs Hagler is a hard one to score. In truth Hagler showed signs of slipping just before the Leonard fight and was at one point, GASP, being out boxed by John Mugabi, who wasn’t known for boxing skills. It was then Leonard decided to make the fight vs Hagler.

Since Hagler retired after the Leonard fight, its hard to tell he was still in his prime or not. I tend to think Hagler was in a slow decline, which is why he paced himself in the early rounds of the fight, and likely spotted Leonard a 4-0, or 3-1 lead early in the fight.

Foreman was 0-2 in title fights on his come back trial, even losing on points to Tommy Morrsion!

Foreman got a 3rd chance vs Moorer, and Morrer's weak chin magnified Foreman’s punchers chance. While the upset was great, Foreman likely won a gift decision or two along the way and only got a 3rd chance at the title coming off a loss because he was popular.

Pintor wasn’t as old as Vitlai is not for his comeback.
