Just want to Know and get this of my chest

bring up the poll thread. Alot of people voted for Cotto, but said Margarito had a legit shot at the KO. seems like they were right.

 

Cotto had shown tremendous heart in previous fights. He had shown tremendous boxing ability and speed. He was the quicker and more skilled fighter. I thought he would pick Margarito apart and eventually the fight would be stopped or would turn into a brutal UD for Cotto.

Cotto did absolutely everything I thought he would. I just underestimated Margo's will. The man was like a Zombie in there that night.

 

I thought that Cotto was a lot more durable, either that or I underestimated Margo's power one or the other. I also thought that Cotto was a big enough puncher that he would wear Margarito down.

Also despite the overwhelming majority of people picking Cotto in the prefight buildup, afer reading all of the responses in the thread it seems as though Vantage West and I are the only ones that has openly admitted that I picked Cotto. Everyone else has used words like "everyone" and "people". Is it that hard for people to own up to an incorrect pick?

 

I picked Margo, because I have seen him fight, plus I have always and will always say that Cotto was overrated. He ran like a ***** against Shane near the end, and he had to low-blow his way out of the Zab fight.

Margo is too relentless, durable, and conditioned for him. And, he will whip his ass again, WORSE, if they rematch!

 

OF course we do. I picked Cotto here I picked Lacy to beat Calzage I picked Trinidad to beat Hopkins and Wright both. The overwhelming majority of the board made those same predictions yet whenever these threads start they are full of people who all saw it coming. I just don't get it.

 

Margarito's size and style were all too bad for Cotto.

Everyone except Bob Arum did not realize it until the fight.:yep
