I'm not a boxer at all, closest I've come is going a few rounds with my dad who boxed as a school boy amateur and my bro, but in that short amount of experience, I kinda learned what style I had (or imagined i had), I'm left handed but don't fight southpaw cos i liked to have a lot of control with my jab and like to counter (not that i ever fought seriously) for example. So what styles would ppl like to have, or imagine they do have?

lmao no it is a great experiance you learn alot seriousley
i used to think i was a aggressive brawler when i started boxing but i soon found out that was not the way when i got ktfo'ed hard with a brocken nose

so i learned from that and im more of a conterpuncher now but i do like to get in there and mix it up if i have felt the guys power and feel i can take it

He's nearly 50 and I'm 22, but he prob still could lol, no matter how good i thought I was getting, knocking my bro around and my mates, he can always catch me...shows what even a small amount of training can do.

if you have ever boxed or just sparred before you start picking up little things because the last thing your gonna do is just stand there and eat punches so you start watching your opponent the way hes moving if he's got quick right's strainghts you gotta watch for little things like his left shoulder slightly dropping then move out the ****ing way
but all boxer's have different ways

im sure if you kept boxing with your dad you would start figuring him out, iv been boxing in amatures for 2 years but in boxing club for 4 years started with my best friend and our coach does not like putting us two together in sparring because we know each others advantages and it tends to end up a complete chess match

I figured my bro, whos mainly just full of agression, and my friends that are into boxing, my old man's just got good fundementals. Love trying to land liver punches, tho can't fully go for it.

I would be inclined to think that I have a Buster Douglas style on the night he beat Tyson. A lot of straight punches, good use of the jab, etc.
