Margarito vs Cotto II

Wrong man he was tring to outbox SSM but SSM couldn't do what margo did.

 

Cotto can win the fight, he has the ability to steal a decision. He can't run as much, and he has to improve his defense which can all be done. Do I think he WILL beat AM...NO!. Two hands are always better than one imo. Heart, chin, a vastly underrated defense, and two fisted punching is why AM beat Cotto and will beat him again. AM can't walk in though thinking he can just land one punch and get Cotto out of there. AM may even start faster, I don't know. Whatever the case, Cotto won't win the rematch.

 

It could go either way but i would say it would be better for boxing if Cotto won in another exciting brawl then we would have one of the best trilogies of the past decade.

 

all you guys who are saying margo by early ko are just thinking crazy, cotto should be hungrier then ever and know this time to box and run not stand against the ropes an fight margos way. cotto by ud

If he tries that, he will tire faster than the first time and get KO faster. If opts to trade, he will get KO faster.

It's funny How NOW the poll is very close before the fight there where only like 8 of us going for Margo but seem's a lot of people learn there lesson.:deal

 

He still got tired though and it was also pointed out, he was trying to box against Mosley but still threw some punches and used some movement when he needed to. The way he got tired against Margarito was FAR worse, Cotto was actually exhausted even before the stoppage as the way he slowed down and didn't bother with moving his head(as he did earlier) whenever he went to the ropes proved it. The way he got tired against Margarito was the amount of punches he threw, movement, the punches Margarito landed on him, bleeding heavily and just too much pressure to handle as a tired man in there taking more punches than he could afford to take as a tired man.

 

All of you that are picking Margo shouldn't count Cotto out easily. Cotto is still young and can still learn other ways to beat Margo. Actually, he laid out the blue print on how to beat Margo in the first 5 rds of the fight, so don't tell me that he can't just beat Margo. I am not saying that it would be easy but I do believe that he has the tools and the tools that were need it in the first fight will be used in the second fight...

On the other hand, we have Margo who at this point in time, he can't learn or change the way he fights. We have to give Cotto a better chance in the 2nd fight.

 

No question that this fight will be a bit more competitive...not that the 1st encounter wasn't......but Cotto will make some adjustments and I think he'll box more, control the ring more and avoid banging with Marg.......THAT IS, For as long as his pride will let him. PRIDE for cotto AGAIN will be his undoing. He'll eventually decide to bang with Marg and he'll end up getting caught. I see anther late round KO or TKO for Marg in anther classic battle between Mexican and PR fighters.

 

Let's not get carried away...."WIN" maybe!.....DRUBB hell to the no!
