Great post, even though I'm a huge fan of Samuel Peter's, I truly believe he would lose against Ike, Ike was better than Peter every aspect of the fight game, aside from power, where there pretty comparable IMO. I see the fight being a slugfest, one that Ike should win.

Ike was a really good fighter and had tons of potential, a great size at 6'2 and a half, 220's, with a butcher block body. Heavy handed, good combination puncher from what I seen, pretty good footmovement, top notch chin, and a good workrate for a Heavyweight that size. I do believe he would of had a long reign at Heavyweight in the 2000's, we would really do a number on guys like Wlad, Chagaev, Haye, and Povetkin, what a waste of talent he was.

Can LennoxGOAT make a single post without making a complete ass of himself in the process?

One of the biggest wastes of talent ever. He had an awesome workrate for a HW, one of the best I've ever seen. His chin was simply granite, Tua, an ATG puncher, landed flush on him MANY times and Ibeabuchi didn't go down. His power, speed, and skills are also impressive.

Had he not been insane, no doubt in my mind he goes down as a top 15-20 HW ever.

If you go by the record, no.

I am exercising a small amount of faith that he will make a post sharing the knowledge he claims to have, rather than insulting others for sharing theirs.

Clearly, the hooker that Ike raped was lennoxGOAT's mother, which is the reason he fabricated some bull**** story about actually observing Ike as he trained, then claiming that he would've been mediocre against elite fighters. I don't know if you're an idiot for making up such a ridiculous tale, or for believing that any of us would seriously believe it.

Seriously though, with a name like lennoxGOAT, I bet he thinks that Lewis would KO Tyson, Ali, and Foreman blindfolded with one hand tied to his back. Don't take this clown seriously.

Noone does, his words are about as believable as President Bush's, when he's addressing the nation.

I don't get into keyboard warrior debates with people on the internet. Especially because I am most likely twice the size of anyone on this board.

I am from Texas and Ike, more or less, went on a Texas circuit and did a ton of training in Dallas.

I understand it is easy for you guys to think he was amazing because you look at youtube highlights, but I saw a mentally fragile fighter who more brute than boxer. He wouldn't have even beat Byrd if he didn't catch him and his whole camp was scared shitless of a grossly limited Tua who in my opinion won by two rounds.

Many fighters who have beat Ike. And Peter? He would beat Ike because he was way more mentally tough than anything Ike could muster. No way Ike would have been able to hang with Wlad that long nor have the mental toughness to rebound against McCline. And Toney? Toney would have Guinn'd Ike's ass.

It is comical the pedastool Ike gets put on for simply going 12 rounds life and death with David ****ing Tua. The same Tua who struggled mightily with Hasbeen twice and Tua was grossly embarrassed by Lennox.

The mental game is just sorely underestimated by jocksniffers. That group simply doesnt get it, and Ike simply didn't have it. And if you need anymore evidence, the dumbass is in jail for raping a hooker. Once again, he is in jail for raping a hooker.

But if you really want to know how stupid some of these posts are...please order Ike's career set and promptly go to the Wade (?) and Marion Wilson fights. After you watch those, you will no longer hype up a mental midget with limited game.

Back in 04 I caught a case out here in Vegas. One of the correctional officers in the downtown jail was a big time boxing fan. So I asked him what it was like to have to deal with Ibeabuchi. He said the guy was a SCARY SCARY animal. He said that it took eight correctional officers just to serve him a paper!!

He had the potential to be a champion, and beat Tua at his own game. He lulled byrd to sleep and took him out. He was 235 lb of muscle, and had a great jab and the George Foreman crab defense. Good chin, speed and power. IMO he had it all in front of him, and he let some trim alter his professional career. Just another fighter who had a bright future who squandered it by getting into needless trouble. He now has a degree in accounting, and should be getting out soon. He wants to come back, but he is all done. He has no future as a fighter. He is done...He was a superb talent.

I don't believe a word that you say. He might've been mentally weak as proven, but nobody has youtubed his fights. I saw many of his fights early and until the end. Ike could fight, and you have a fake opinion. There is no "he wouldn't have caught Byrd"...he did, and at the time was the only one who ko'd Byrd. You can take your weak opinion and tell it to the other Ike haters. Your size means nothing,a dn who cares if you saw him in a gym in Texas. You sound bitter because he probably kicked oyu out or something. Ike would've whipped Peters ass. I used to think the opposite until I saw Peter's flaws. You talk of the Wilson and Wade fights, I go to the Tua and Byrd fights. You are trying to dis an up and coming Ike. Sorry, but you are just a phony hater, and a pathetic one at that. Your post is full of lunacy you :nut

    I be tellin u da truth....aiight.

I never talk about a fighter without watching his entire career. I never speak about anyone south of 160. And in Ike's case, along with Kirk Johnson, I have seen them actually train and spar purely because of my location to their respective camps.

Lunacy? You are using a Byrd fight where Ike caught him and a Tua fight where it was life and death for both fighters. This equals greatness...

Peter's flaws? Because he started fighting people. Peter is nowhere near as bad as you morons try to proclaim. My only issues with Peter are his overrated power and his dedication. Peter would have ****ed Ike up.
