    Agressive and brutal Duran

Cause he only needed to be that much better than Castillo, and those who saw know he was a hell of a lot more than that.....

Too much pressure, too much strength etc.

To be honest I also see Duran winning, but Mayweather is one slick SOB - much faster than Duran. If he continous to throw jabs all night and make Duran miss, judges could get him UD just like in DLH fight...

If Duran would be able to keep Floyd on the ropes and corners he would bully him. But it would be hard to do with so clever fighter as PBF

Hatton was doing good in the beginning rounds against Mayweather. Hatton doesnt have good stamina though. Duran had great stamina to go 15 rounds.

yes i agree full heartedly, by the looks of how i saw the fight hatton was doing well the first 6 rounds, but the judges didnt see it that way.

But taking how hatton was doing so well, doesnt that show how good a fighter mayweather was, and how he may have been able to adapt to Durans style??

duran and hatton are in different stratosphere...floyds fight with hatton doesn't say anything about a matchup with duran.

Duran by KO early due to his far greater skill, talent, intelligence, power, heart and will. Ok?

different stratosphere?! now i admit hatton is no where near as great Duran was, but similarities in styles can be made imo.

I've got to go with PBF on this one. I see Duran getting very frustrated with his style and defence with him possibly resorting to low blows and thumbs.

Many bring up the Castillo fight as a reference of point on how to beat pbf and there is doubt in my mind that he lost that fight but I think he learnt from it and came out better. So maybe if they fought pre Castillo Duran would win otherwise I see PBF biding his time for the first couple of rounds as Duran brings the pressure but as it goes into the middle and later rounds PBF would start picking him apart.

For me Leonard vs Duran II is the blueprint PBF would use although they have different styles. In that fight Leonard put a boxing clinic on Duran which Duran couldn't deal with and it was obvious that he knew that if it carried on he would've been in trouble. This fight would be interesting but I'd rather see Duran against Mosely or PBF vs Leonard.

Hatton is exactly the same as Duran other than that he isn't as strong, doesn't have defense, can't throw combinations, and thinks the definition of infighting is to throw a body punch and then hold.

    Mayweather UD (utterly demolished)

pbf - duran would be like leonard - duran II, pbf has the foot and hand speed to get in and out and get out of the way of duran, at 135 pbf had pretty good power to boot, but styles make fights and pbf in my opinion could do a similar job to what leonard did to duran in the second fight, and one other advantage is pbfs unique style on the ropes when he gets caught there once or twice in the round. anyway pbf ud if duran can be willing to chase him a whole fight, if not 'no mas' II
