You wrote only Europe creats hyped fighters out of average ones. Lacy was the same story. That´s fact. Writing some bs that has nothing to do with that does not change anything. You are a biased idiot with next to no knowledge of boxing. And you proved it again and again in this thread. Great work, mate :good

I don't know why this is even controversial. The doc told Arthur not to fight; he had the flu. The fight has been rescheduled for November 8th. Why should AA risk a needless loss to Marquez? That would screw up a Pavlik fight and a HUGE pay day.

Why are you even arguing with this clown ?

He'll disappear soon, when Kessler or Calzaghe or Abraham wins a big fight and his ass gets owned again.

Then he'll be back under some new monicker.

He owns himself every time he sits down at the keyboard.

Notice you haven't seen KilltheKing either since the king killed Miranda.

    His last post:

Miranda was KO'd a few hours later.

    Maybe Bustalip= UppercutKO=Killthe king

It more seems to be you are a bit too excited for your father to maybe get it done vs. a not in shape Abraham.

IMO your father has too much pride to just win a belt vs. a guy who's not only on top of his game but serious ill.

But I give you that: A bad, bad plan by AA and his camp for not getting down in weight properly. 10 days before the fight he said he's overweight by 11 lbs. 5 days before the fight, he says he's 7lbs over weight. That shows me a miscalculation by him and his camp to come down in weight.

They/he may have over-estimated his ability to make weight after having fought Miranda at 166 lbs. We should just hope that he gets fine and makes weight without issues like this time (b/c it will cost him, his promoter and even your father and his team a good amount of money - it's just not right for the opponent like when Guzman didn't make weight and Campell didn't see any money).

Just keep cool and next month we'll hopefully see both your father and Abraham make it to the ring a 100%... :thumbsup

What i don't get logic wise from some of the haters here is how is AA scared when he will fight him in a month time ?
Even if you people are right and saying he got sick not making the weight properly (167 is NOTHING 2 days before .... there are fighters that rehydrate 15lb or more) how does that make him scared ?

He is still fighting the same guy on the agreed upon weight so i fail to see how that makes him scared.

Right and because of this the IBF should stripped him off the title.

I hope your father could stay in good shape and win the fight at 8th Novembre.:good

Abraham has the flu and that's enough of an excuse not to fight. Everything else is only speculations.

What if he'd taken the fight and lost it or only won by close margin? He'd been given **** for it from exactly the same people here that claim that he should have fought while being sick. Let me tell you this: James Toney fought while having the flu when he was MW champ (the infamous Dave Tiberi fight) and he gets **** for it to this present day for not looking good that night. He was about 50% of his usual self that evening and (some) posters here point to that very fight in order to degrade him, ignoring the great fights he had at that time. Exactly the same thing would have happened to Abraham if he had fought. It was a lose-lose situation.

Of course the possibility is given that Abraham was just weakened by making weight and that he faked the flu in order to not risk his belt, but honestly the man does not have a history of playing it safe so I believe he really is sick until proven otherwise. Remember this is the man who fought 7 rds with a broken jaw and lost nearly a half gallon of blood doing so...
