Disappointing choice of opponent but somewhat expected. When you look at his fights between Dec 07 to Nov 08, it reads Clavero, Hamdan, Soliman, Kim and Santos, all fighters with over 75% winning records but none of these fighters have any massive wins to their name, the biggest prob Soliman's win over Joval. In all these fights, he only has the one KO against Clavero which was a comical knockout.

Shannan Taylor would've been better since we could seen him fight a at 160 and against a ranked fighter and not 162 or 163 as it is going to be.

Hopefully he can win by KO in the first 2 or 3 rounds and put on a show then sign up the winner of Sturm v Sylvester for Feb 2009. He better not say after the fight, I'm going to fight Green next!

Mate, the Mundine v Pompey fight was before Mundine fought Ottke so not on the same card as Green v Lucas. I think Lucas fought as the main event with Mundine's one of the support bouts.

The Green v Lucas fight off memory was in 2003 after the Beyer I fight.

Say what you will, but no one can deny you Australians have at least one good supermiddleweight with balls.

No, I am Romanian, hence the nickname, avatar and interest in Romanian fighters.

I was thinking of Sakio Bika.

You look at a fighter like Roy Jones Jr, legend fighter. He was fighting guys like this at Mundine's stage in his career. Boxing is a game, and if you are self managed you do what you want, like Jones and Mundine. Mundine will have his big fights here and there, but in-between he will fight guys like this.

Also, this guy is 31-2. So while he has fought no the best guys he still has 31 wins and only 2 loss, so he would pound anyone on this forum, and the next....
