Did Gatti catch or hurt DLH in this fight at all? or was it one sided demolition...trying to figure out if it's worth watching.

You saw what Floyd did to Gatti, right......it was just as bad if not worse from my memory. Very onesided.

Gatti did cut de la Hoya and was winning the first round until he ''slipped''.In the rest it was a showcase of Oscar and of Arturo's chin

Similar to the fight against Mayweather. But Oscar hurt Gatti more.

De La Hoya looked brilliant in this fight. Lovely upperbody movement, double jabs, varied combinations. Apart from taking 3 or 4 flush punches from Gatti, his defense was great. He was bending from the waist and slipping under Gatti's punches.

De La Hoya looked very flexible from the waist upwards. He's not used this type of defense since. Not as regularly during a fight anyway. Only against Chavez in their first fight and Hernandez at lightweight have I seen him move his head and upperbody like a demon in a similar fashion.

I can say without question, Mayweather snr added this to De La Hoya and lost it with him. Watch De La Hoya-Mosley II and you'll see that he's 'straight up and down' and rather robotic. Exactly what Mayweather snr said he'd take away from him.

Was it the size difference, or just that Oscar a level or two above Gatti? Fan of both, just never got round to watching it, Floyd destroyed Gatti, so don't really wanna see a repeat of that.

Remember the Floyd fight? It was worse. Just picture Gatti getting hit harder with about twice as many punches

Yes. He gave De La Hoya the worst corner advice in boxing history between the 1st and 2nd rounds when he said "He's tired already", talking about Mosley obviously.

It wasn't exactly advice, just pure bull****.

This fight was at 147 a weight Gatti had no business at. It was a beatdown as expected.

The size difference was insane in there, Gatti took a serious beating there, he landed a good punch early as far as I remember but it wasn't anything too threatening to be honest, DLH was in full control.
