    Awesome, truly awesome!

If only we could have seen a rematch in the pros, man that would have been something special :bbb

not watched it again, but it shows for a small man just what skills pryor did have underneath his windmill pro style.

and it also shows that you can see the potential in such a young man as hearns was.

cannot remember at the time , but i bet the kronk had loads of people fighting for his pro signature.

A pro rematch would've been much different.

a pro rematch would have been impossible.
anyone who saw hearns the welterweight must know he could never boil down to light welterweight.

Very true. Luckily for Hearns, this fight was only budgeted for three rounds.

Not neccessarily, it might've taken him 4 to get the brutal KO that would await Pryor were they to have ever faced off in the pros. I doubt it though, 3 is plenty of time.

I worked at the Forum in L.A. when Hearns fought Pipino Cuevas on circuit TV there. When Hearns knocked him out in the second round, 15.000 mostly Mexican fans started the biggest, scariest riot I had ever seen. I ended up herding many female employees into a downstairs restroom and guarding them. Hundreds of people were either stabbed or trampled in the melee.

Amazing how Tommy's style changed to more of a puncher when he went pro, but Aaron's stayed the same

A classic like this definitly deserves a bump even if it is 14 months later, Sick and tired of hearing this Pac/May controversy bull****. Dont you guys get tired of going back and fort? its been done to death.

Enjoy Esb i think Hearns looks like a boy and Pryor has already fully matured. Remember Hearns only had 12kos as an amatuer.
