Paul Williams isn't afraid of a challenge. He got right back in there with Quintana after he was outclassed by him. Props to both men if this fight comes off. If Williams wins, he can go after the WBC belt and he will have cleaned out the division.
I'd rather see Cotto fight Soto personally and get some confidence back...think Cintron is a little too dangerous for his 1st fight back after a KO loss.
Agreed. Cintron would be an interesting fight. Big power little brain Kermit against all aggression superior boxer Cotto. Very risky fight for both men as a loss to Cotto would further push Cintron down the totem pole and a loss to Cintron would probably retire Cotto.
Cotto-Soto would be a damn exciting fight while it lasts. Cintron is pretty overrated here, and I expect it would be a clinic put on by Cotto until Cintron quits on his stool in the mid-to-late rounds. Who of significance has he actually beaten?
yes and cotto is a horrible comeback fight for citron. the ndou could still not go down and than just jump in agianst cotto. cotto coming in to tear some ass so would citron be safe?? lets say how long will that body hold?? citron was put out twice by marga and alot easier and faster than cotto was.
He likes to hype us fans up, and as usual, he talks his way out of it. He got everyone under the sun to think Floyd avoided AM lol.
Soto is a horrible fight for Cotto. This guy drew with Manuel Gomez, yeah the same guy Margarito iced in the first round. Even Lujan or Baldomir would be worlds better if not Berto or Clottey. All these guys are ready and willing to face Cotto next year. There's no way he's stepping in against Cintron.
