Yeah i agree....great way for him to start his pro career. This matchup on debut signifies to me that they aint mucking about here. They feel they can move him along quickly as a potential top prospect should. No point him sitting around fighting the likes of Hadlow after 15 fights like a couple other of our decent prospects are doing...just waiting to become exposed.
Keen to see how he goes in the Pros. The guy has definitely got good skills and his style is more suited to the pros than the amateurs.
We sparred Jarrod last week and are sparring him again this week. Great boxer and under the tutelage of Steve Dellar should go well. Definately one to watch in my opinion.
