Pavlik, B-Hop trade verbal shots!
Undefeated world middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik and two-division world champion Bernard Hopkins spoke to reporters today about their October 18 clash at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall. "He's never been stopped," noted Pavlik. "How good of a chin does he have? ...what happens when he does get hit flush? It's definitely not out of the question for a late round stoppage or a quick knockout." Hopkins said he relished the thought of facing Pavlik. "Kelly Pavlik is the perfect opponent for me because he come forward, he comes to fight and he wants to knock Bernard Hopkins out," stated B-Hop, who spoke after Pavlik. "At least that's what he says....if Kelly Pavlik thinks he's gonna beat Bernard Hopkins because he has a right hand, he's a damn fool."

I don't think neither of these guys are gonna be able to let the **** talk start flying. First of all, thats not Kellys style. And as far as Hopkins goes, the guys got a line of BS a mile long. But calling KP a fool because he has a good right hand punch? Is that the best he can come up with? This fight will have to be fought with fists & not words & Hopkins knows this. He has too much respect for Pavlik & would make a fool of himself saying ridiculous crap about such a classy guy.

I just can't see B Hop going over the edge with the trash talk this time. He's going out on his shield & he knows it! So he must figure lets go out with some "class" & alot of "cash".

 

Thats right. This is a fight that sells itself to the knowledgable fight fan. No hype necessary.

 

For a full 12 rounds? Don't make it sound like B Hops not gonna get hit...cause he will. Harder than he's ever experienced before.
