WTF is wrong with you man? Tua landed the cleaner more EFFECTIVE blows a majority of the time...It was a close fight a very close fight....so quit ****ing moaning and move on already you're beginning to sound like a ******
Yes, definitely. If Toney had maintained that weight then he would've held a HW title, no doubt at all. As for the fight...Tua 115-113.
I agree it was so close that a decision either way should not really adversely affect either guy. Well, Ike mentally was affected, but you know what I mean. Both guys came out of it looking good. Sadly not always the case with close decisions.
This isn't how the fight went. You didn't see the fight, sorry. JMO that's all. You're a biased poster anyway, so who cares what you think anyway.
You guys are killing me saying Tua won lol. It truly makes me doubt you saw this fight. The man won a unanimous decision, and Tua was the fighter being hyped. You guys seem a bit biased, and I don't know why lol...Google the fight please...The HBO crew didn't even have a problem with the decision. You can clearly see each round Tua's trainer pleading with him to throw more punches. These are my last comments on the fight. Just watch the fight, I've said my peace...
Because someone does not agree with your opinion, on a super hotly contested fight and outcome, they didn't see the fight??? Give me a ****ing break.
It was a damn close fight, but I honeslty believe Ike won the fight 115-113. I thought Ike actually landed the more effective punches on the inside and his workrate was extremely impressive as well, which I think broke punch stat numbers for a Heavyweight fight. It was a match between two heavy hitting guys at or near the primes of there career going at it, a true classic.
Hmm, sounds like a pretty accurate unbiased description. I had Tua winning 6-5-1 but a lot of them were very close, accuracy and volume of Ike's punches vs. power and effect of Tua's. Still, any result would be acceptable and it was a hell of a fight
This has always perplexed me. Why do people see it as so controversial? I thought it was clear as day that Ibeabuchi won, as he won all of the early rounds while fighting on pretty much even terms with Tua in the latter part. He just outworked him throughout, though it was definitely a highly competitive fight.
Sad to say I`ve never seen this fight all the way thru. I`ve only caught some youtube footage here and there.
You HAVE to see it. Damn, the amount of punches those two threw :yikes And btw the poll is almost dead even... Already feeling better that I scored the fight even
