None ... his composure isn't like any young fighter i'd seen outside of a Floyd Mayweather or Pernell Whitaker ... hell even Tito ... I think that he can beat Caballero - who hasn't fought anyone yet and will face his toughest test in Molitor ... Vasquez will remain Idle for the remainder of the year and possibley till next spring ... add to that he's not going to take a chance at fighting Juanma.

I can see him going up to the featherweight division after a few defenses and making his mark against more top notch fighters.

He did something Caballero couldn't do and thats to knockout De Leon.

I can see alot of fighters giving him a tough fight, but I don't see them effecting him enough to beat him.

Maybe someone like Rafa Marquez ... or even Israel Vasquez ... those guys will make a good fight for him and further fuel that rivalry between Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Honestly, I think Marquez would be more effective against JuanMa than Vasquez would. This would be a good rivalry fight with PR looking like the favorite. PR looked like the favorite in the Cotto Margo fight as well :hey .

In terms of success? Yeah sure.

In terms of mainstream popularity? Nay. I don't see how it's possible...JuanMa is probably too small to make a ripple effect with the mainstream media.

Juanma has the talent and charisma to be a huge star but unless he finds a way to fight succesfully at higher weights his chances of being a boxing "star" are limited!

yeah he has a great chance

Despite the elite status and accomplishments Cotto has enjoyed, not once was he ever the man in his division through out his career.

Gamboa would not last a round against Juanma.

You know what was very nice. Before the fight Juanma said he was excited because he was gong to fight in front of his idol Tito. He hugged Tito when he got to the ring. And after the fight he mention Titos was his idol again. Lots of respect for Tito

its a bit early to be sure but i like his chances. he looks like the total package but he has yet to test himself against la creme. hes got enough comp to make the rivalry really exciting and the phillippines have a horse in this race also.

Every so often there's a young guy that comes up that destroys a couple of warriors that people thought would teach him a lesson...whilst I have more respect for Vasquez/Marquez than most boxers, I sadly think JuanMa has their number...too many wars.

However, we haven't seen too much of this kid, so who knows? He needs to fight Bautista next, who was caught cold by De Leon but would give JuanMa a fight.

Then Gerry Penelosa, for his durability.

    Then Molitor/Cabellero/Vasquez/Marquez.

I actually think rafa would be more competitive than Vasquez, just because he's more upright. However, I DO rate Vasquez higher than marquez, but styles make fights so....

I don't understand though, Cotto whenever he asked about Tito says he's a legend and a true puerto rican icon, Is Tito being overly critical because of the soo called "nights out" that Cotto has

i think he can and he's more like tito but won't get the same recognition as cotto or tito because of the weight class he fights in
