Im a bit bored, going to bang this one up off the top of my head.

    1. Jimmy Wilde
    2. Pascual Perez
    3. Pancho Villa
    4. Benny Lynch
    5. Miguel Canto
    6. Frankie Genaro
    7. Fidel LaBarba
    8. Horacio Accavallo
    9. Mark Johnson
    10. Pone Kingpetch

Tossed up putting Peter Kane and Midget Wolgast in there but I dont know it was a quick one.
Ohba, Burruni and Chinoi deserve a mention
I dont know where to rate Coulon at flyweight, cause it kind of didnt exist when he was fighting and he did a lot more work at bantam.

I'd rate Canto higher, as I think his Flyweight career surpassed that of Perez personally. Also, I think a guy like Ebihara should be in there ahead of Johnson and Kingpetch. Arbachakov you could argue over a guy like Johnson as well.

And you can definitely add Midget Wolgast, he shouldn't be lower than 7 on that list. I think he was a better fighter than Wilde, peak for peak, personally.

I was checking Kingpetch's record to make sure I spelt his name correct and there he was, good record sure there is a space there for him.

Also where do you put Coulon? Fly, bantem, the all time greatest paperweight champ, was hoping someone can could me some advice on that

Interesting that they add Lopez to a flyweight list. And other jnr flys such as Carabajal, Chiquita Gonzalez & Chang are there to.

Never knew the International Boxing Research Organization existed.

You should take into account with Ebihara that he likely holds two wins over Kingpetch, as the rematch was a robbery by all accounts after blitzing him in their first fight.

As for Coulon, I don't know exactly where to rate him. He's generally rated higher at Bantamweight, even if he did fight under that limit quite a bit. His record is outstanding, but I'd have to do a bit more research on him on order to see where he stands on an all time list, as the lack of footage and the general era in which he fought is an issue when ranking for me.

Chang should rate well higher if we're considering all fighters under Lightweight. In league with Lopez IMO, easily better than the likes of Carbajal and Gonzalez. Harada in a head to head sense rates extremely highly as well.

If that list is any indication, you were none the poorer for it.

Kingpetch over Harada for me pretty much guarantees that boxrec's in effect. :good

Some of their rankings seem quite interesting...Wilfredo Gomez is not mentioned in either the feather or bantem lists, nor is even mentioned in the "just missing the cuts list""..

    Monzon no5 at middleweight....

    Sure there is more..

Jofre no15 at feather :think ? Why because he beat Saldivar who pretty much came out of retirement after losing his title, what was it.. 3 years earlier.

And the fact that Hiroyuki Ebihara doesn't even make the list (really beat Kingpetch twice - once WIDE on points, once in a first round KO) CONFIRMS that it is the International Boxrec Organisation. :D

I'm guilty of underating Ebihara too. Some fighters just slip through the cracks, I guess, and footage can be a little hard to come by. Then again, I wouldn't put up a top 20 list and cliam to be an authority.

Was the 2nd Harada fight controversial?
