What excuse will Malignaggi use when he loses to Hatton?

    It's already well-proven that Paulie struggles with good inside fighters and that he's bad at maneuvering out of being boxed into a corner. Hatton is one of the best there is at cutting off the ring, and if he can do that, he shouldn't have too much of a problem beating Malignaggi. Mayweather just happened to be spectacular at avoiding getting cut off, and people are letting that fight affect their memories too much. Paulie is no Floyd, not even close, and he doesn't have the elusiveness or punching power to keep Ricky off of him. Ricky by wide UD here, and it doesn't look that dissimilar to the Cotto fight.

    I haven't followed Malignaggi's career, but I have the Cotto fight on DVD, and overall he gave Cotto credit and admited Cotto was the better fighter.

    In the post fight interview he did no doubt but in interviews months after is when he started up the lame excuses.

    paulie is loud and brash and in your face but he does not make excuses he just takes his loss says what he did wrong and goes on..i feel he is one of very few boxers who doesnt make excuses left and right yes he makes some but who doesnt?
