Lawyer suit...lol, now that's funny:rofl . Fight comparison's only confuse the issue imo, but some good points can be made. I saw lets argue first, and then make comparisons. I saw this because crowds do make a difference as their cheering can sometimes get a judge to think a fighter has landed. Points can be made without comparisons, but I'd rather talk about a fight FIRST. Me and you argued(no real argument) before on this point. We all know as fans a controversial fight when we see one. Bringing up another controversial fight imo, just confuses the issue.
Carles is a MALE name :good And btw maybe you could tell me what "wind-up" means since good ol' Sweet Pea won't be so kind to inform me?
I never said that, you're entitled to that opinion. Absolutely, for all of the reasons I stated, none of which you've attempted to disprove, even now. Pretty much, considering how their fight went with a past prime Pea and a prime Oscar, and how much better Pea was at 135. You claimed my post was far off base. I queried, you attempted to back your claim with weak retorts which I easily disproved, and you've done nothing since but the above. I'm the one making arguments here, while you do nothing but continue to prove your immaturity and lack of knowledge.
I apologize then. I assumed you were just winding me up, which simply means to attempt to rile up, or irritate. I meant that Whitaker arguably beat DLH, meaning myself and many others felt he won the fight and there's a strong argument in his favor.
But Pea do you feel that Oscar has an argument for winning the fight also?.....Oscar defense in that fight does'nt seem to never get any credit,Oscar in a general sense is an underrated defensive fighter.
Oscar's defense was actually quite good, I noticed this also. It was a close fight. Depending on your criteria and personal preference, I could see the case for De La Hoya winning, though I feel Whitaker clearly won.
Whitaker brought skills to this sport that have not been matched since the time he left the sport. He might not have been popular like Oscar, but he was undeniably a greater fighter and will go down as such amongst those who really give a **** about the sport.
Again, you "disproved" my points by merely disagreeing with me and then taking a victory lap. And don't let the fact I can see right through your bull-**** and call you on it distract you from my boxing knowledge!
Then come up with a rebuttal to my goddamn points! It shouldn't be that hard if you actually have a case, now should it?
It's all good :good Great then, just like some people thought that Castillo arguably won the first Mayweather fight, or that Tua arguably beat Ibeabuchi
Amazing that the fresco is from the 16th century B.C. Having Greek origins, I feel now that boxing was in my blood
