Of course he will throw the jab, but it will not be effective. I think he will get countered big time. Especially if he pushes the jab and leaves him arm extended, which he does at times.

His jab might be helpful to him if he "bull rushes" in at the same time.

 

If I remember correctly, Peter used the jab pretty well against a tall McCline and it actually WON him the fight. I do not see Peter abandoning the jab here.

 

We have to remember that Klitschko has been out injured semi retired for how many years.

Ring rust can be an factor here, At least Peter is an live underdog and Klitscho will need to be near his top game to win this one.

If VK is 6-7 inches taller then how is it that Peter has to punch up at least a foot? Peter has longer arms are you factoring that in as well? Even so punching at a target a full foot higher is not as bad as it so sounds...Fighters don't fight standing straight up anyhow.

Peter will have the advantage of having a body that more availible...if he is smart then he will be able to utilize his advantages as well. Only time will tell whether he will do so

in the first 2-3 rounds of the fight peter should use his jab and move inside range and go downstairs, then let his hands go abit on vitali body
i think if sam doesnt get tagged to hard and he lands deacent shots to vitali's worn and torn body he can break him down (roughhouse) enough until hes gases out, then he should have it in the bag

but this is no easy feat at all

 

the main thing peter has to do which is very important is be ontop of vitali all the way through the fight close all distance possible and keep punching away at him, roughhousing him constantly and leaning on him
if he does this effectivly he should tire quickly
if he does not close the gap he will probs get knock out
