I wonder if Floyd's perfectionism is going to irritate Ricky during the long isolation of training camp. Even those guys close to Mayweather senior have hinted that he can be a difficult guy to put up with, and Ricky is a strong willed individual who likes to do things his way. We shall see.
Interesting and hopefully they get along. If not, they will both surely let us know in detail why things went sour.
I remember watching some footage of Floyd Mayweather Sr shouting at Oscar De la Hoya on the pads, and Oscar Del La Hoya looked abit scared. He was being told/made to repeat the routine again.."Because Mayweather was not happy"...
not sure whether leopards can change there spots but its gonna be interestin to see if he can make a difference - he needs to if hattons goin to get his career back on track
Hatton looks very unnatural using his right hand in those combinations Mayweather Sr. has imposed on him (so far). If it wasn't for the fact that Team Hatton has been all over the media - whether it's Mayweather Sr. talking about the specifics, or Lee talking about the specifics, or Ricky talking about the specifics - some of these new things they're doing might have greater effect in-of-themselves; but they might not be so effective in their basic actuality. Not if they can't by effectively executed. Basically, the surprise aspect is waaay out the window for some of this. They better be good at actually doing this stuff.
The best move Hatton could make and give himself the time to get use to get use to doing it right. Jr. was a class better than Hatton...And Jr. don't train with dad...but Hatton can't be Jake LaMotta any more against fast boxers...and head, body, head was what he was needing instead of body, body and body yet again.
i've been following ricky for a long time now & i think it was a gud time for a change! you will see a fresh hatton with a spring in his step! ricky will win nov 22nd on points! yep pa!
best desion hatton ever made to go with floyd its a real shame he did it abit too late hatton is a very good learner, the only thing was he was not learning much new with billy grahem the only way is up for hatton
well practice makes perfect, and if you practice bad habits or dont do it right in training, your not gonna do it right come fight night , and end up losing. So might as well get it right from now
