Now I understand why Chad Dawson will not fight Adrian Diaconu

Dawson's defense is atrocious, and he holds his right incredibly low. Which means he's perfect for Diaconu's lethal left hook.

Tarver looks old and bad, but he's still in the fight as I write this.

Dawson takes far too many rounds off, and his defense will be his demise in the fights to come.

He has run from Diaconu, and now it is very clear why that is. If Dawson fights someone live that is younger than 39 years old, he will be in major trouble.

If he fights Diaconu, look for the left hand to take Dawson down and probably out.

Dawson was willing to fight Diaconu in the US or Canada but the only offer was in Romania w why the hell should he go over there and risk getting robbed when he can make more money against Tarver

Dawson is a fraud. Good flashes and athletic ability, but Diaconu would wreck him.

Very unimpressed tonight. He's lucky Tarver decided to get old this evening. Tarver looked awful, even worse than he was against B-Hop.

Dawson begged the WBC champ -- at his house -- to avoid Diaconu. Tonight, that track run makes perfect sense.

I'll go find the article that details Dawson's dead-sprint from Diaconu.

Not impressed at all. In fact, he's worse than I thought.

Here's the article that unequivocally demonstrates how Dawson ran from Diaconu:

    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=17400&more=1

Diaconu would find Dawson's poor chin with his canon left hook. When he did -- and it might take some time while Dawson throws fast shots that land on gloves -- that would be the beginning of the end for Chad Dawson.

I can't believe how sloppy Dawson is with taking rounds off and especially how low he holds that right hand.

And now I know why he will not fight Diaconu.

It's Dawson's own fault if his promoter couldn't beat some noname promoter from Romania in a purse bid.

He took a gamble and decided to drop his belt in order to fight Tarver. It worked out in the end so good for him.

Hopefully if Diaconu can make a name for himself we might see a Dawson-Diaconu fight in a few years.

:rofl Haha somebody call the waaaaambulance. You loser, Dawson just dominated and showed every trick in the book, even mayweather says he's p4p. But no we should probably listen to some sour ***** on the internet when he says that Dawson is afraid of a guy who pulled out of their fight and almost lost to Henry :rofl :rofl You're funny kid, i like you.

Diaconu will be nothing but a paper titlist.

Dawson is the true light heavyweight champion.

I find it very amusing people still do not realize that it was Diaconu not Dawson who pulled out of the original fight because of injuries, by the way why don't Diaconu fight someone worthy before we start saying Diaconu will beat this and that.

    Fighting in Romania. A no-no.

But I wasn't too impressed with Dawson. Tarver was so bad that I feel Dawson could have done better. I agree that he took a lot of rounds off.
