Damn bro. I didn't see your post and put up the same ****. I don't think KP destroys Chad by any means though, he would be my pick to win a real tight fight. They need to wait a couple years. I can really see them being 1-2 p4p within that time. Would be a huge fight then. Let it build though.

KP is my favorite fighter by far. Chad brought his A game tonight and I was really impressed, creative, powerful, fast, slick head movement. I give Tarv credit for 3-4 solid shots. What were the punch stats? When they fight though, I will be there, one way or another.

Pac actaully has been knocked out you do know that??? Plus he lost to JMM TWICE and the judges robbed him, not to mention that he was getting his ass handed to him in several other fights only to have hometown reffing or cuts save him...

Dawson is impressive when he's focused...That really was great advice his corner was giving him before each round "STAY FOCUSED"...If Dawson does that, he can beat anyone in the division.

Dawson-Calzaghe. That's a matchup I want to see. There styles don't make for great fights IMO, but together it would be a great active fight.

Absolutely not. Chad's not even close. Pac, Williams, Calz, Pavlik, and Vitali are all clearly superior fighters to Dawson. I'm sure I'm forgetting others as well.

Dawson is nothing until he finds the courage to fight Diaconu, and others under 39 years of age. And there's the whole matter of the Johnson loss, er, I mean 'win.'

We shall see.. He is not the king yet, but he very well could become that.

He would beat Kessler pretty clearly. I don't think Diaconu would be a big threat. Ya, he should fight them both though for sure to prove it. If Pav doesn't get a shot at Calz then Dawson should try to...

Joe would look real old and real slow and like a real light puncher against him. No doubt in my mind.

I think Kessler could knock Dawson out. I would stay away from him if I were Chad's management.

That fight could be Mundine all over again. And Joe would eat Dawson up, even at this age. Chad would not be able to handle Joe's workrate, and if Joe's hands were good that night, he could well KO China Chin Chad.

Here is what I just posted in another thread:

    * 92% KO %. Highest in HW history (35 in 38 fights)
    * Never trailed on the scorecards at any time in any of his fights
    * Only lost because of injury (torn rotator cuff, nasty cut)

Dawson has been down repeatedly, and rocked a number of times. His defense is atrocious. He has not been the champion three times. He did not just shut out a man 13 years older than him as Vitali did a man 9 years younger than him. Vitali also did not just lose to a 40 year old.

    Let me make this clearer:
    This content is protected
. He's a fraud running from a Romanian living in Montreal.

Valuev recently had an "0" in the loss column. Didn't confuse him with a P4P top dog, and I don't confuse China Chin Chad with one, either.

4 years off. Shut out a champion and made him quit in 8 rounds. That's what dominance looks like. Not fighting 39 year olds after losing to 40 year olds.

    Give me a break.

Kessler could definitely knock him out. I don't think it would happen though. Chad had pretty nice movement tonight, good d all around. Those combos keep the other guy from throwing his own. Calz would have a real hard night, speed kills bro. Both fights could go the either way for sure, not blowouts at all, but Chad would clearly beat both...

Speed does kill. And Joe has far more of it then pretty much anyone Chad has fought.

Chad did move well tonight. I give him that. But he has those lulls. That would be doom against Calz, IMO.

Joe would roll Chad. Chad is not ready for Joe's intensity, and I'm not sure he ever will be. He has too much nonchalance and take-rounds-off to hang with an even-older Joe.

I think Kessler-Dawson could be a great fight.

Chad took rounds off on purpose tonight.... I really think he was playing with Tarver. Thats what it looked like.

Kessler Dawson would be a great fight... Hope it happens.

Excellent fighting and boxing finesse displayed by Dawson. Dominating and full of personality, yes, he is underrated. Dawson is knocking on the doors and fairly demanding a fight with the best of em.

Very good performance by Dawson; I was very impressed, but then, he was always going to look a million dollars against Tarver. Very impressed that he didn't lose focus, in this fight. He's maturing nicely, under his coache's guidance. Things look good for the future. When he got hurt in the 3rd, though, he looked almost out on his feet, stopped moving, stopped throwing, just stood there. Tarver, of course, couldn't finish. That's why this fight was made in the first place.

Let's see if Dawson really does fight Pavlik, Kessler, Calzaghe, or whether he settles for a beaten RJJ, a beaten Hopkins or, most likely, the mouthwatering Tarver rematch...
