Oh dear fancy the Sun getting all the sack-swingers hopes up again

One defeat that'll never be avenged I'm afraid Klit-ites. Still, look on the bright side - Lewis avenged both of his defeats :good

If a 43 year old that looked out of shape, past his best and disinterested in his last fight the best part of SIX YEARS AGO is the best challenger out there, then the rest of the heavyweights need to take a good hard look at themselves.

Lewis is approaching the age of Foreman against Moorer, something considered incredible at the time. And Vitaly is a bit of a tougher fight then Moorer IMO.

Lewis should say thanks but no thanks

Legacy secure, why ruin it against guys like the Klitchko's who he would have beaten convincingly in his prime?

He has nothing to prove, everyone knows who the better Klit is, and Lewis beat the living **** out of him when he was way past his best.

    Lewis TKO6 :rasta

I agree but I think Wlad might be better than Vitaly, anyway Lewis came in worst shape than when he fought Rahman the 1st fight and he still beat Klitchco's ass, no wonder Vitaly waited til Rahman was done before he came back:yep

    Agreed
He has a sweet deal with HBO. He has Zero to win and everything to lose. It is history and it will stay that way

Contary to popular belief, Lewis has stated many times that he would be interested if the money was right.

However, 25 million won't do it. I heard two figures qouted, one was 50 million, and one was 100 million (!).

well, it is not out of the question that Lewis lost some moeny in the stock market.

Lewis has been offered huge money to fight Vitali before, doubt if he will take it, but Vitali wants that fight very badly. Vitali also wants the WBA title, Don King owns part of Valouev and Valouev has the WBA title, so..........Vitali broke Lewis' nose in their fight, Lewis was done for, Vitali would have stopped him in the 7round.

King is trying to weasel his way into this just like he did back in the day with Ali & Foreman.

If Vit & Lewis did want to rematch, why in the hell would they need to involve the Don?

Look the man is 43 :patsch 6 years since his last fight, where he looked past his best for a start.

Is there no one else out there to fight and you all rip calzaghe for fighting bhop (but you dont rip pavlik) and for fighting jones.

Lewis-klitschko now would be nothing more then a freak show and im a massive lewis fan, but be real he is 43 and retired for 6 years:patsch

Even if lewis came out and got battered in one or two rounds it wont mean ****, because he is 43 and had a 6 year lay off
