David Haye is so fast that he got stopped by a 40 some year old CW Carl Thompson. Was almost knocked out by a pumped up supermiddleweight Mock. Was almost knocked out by an old, short muscle bound, slow French Bodybuilder Mormeck.
Mormeck is no joke and was rated highly before running into Bell, though he lost the first fight and second(in my opinion), Haye still took care of him and deserves a lot of credit for it. Not to forget that he went to the man's hometown even after the fiasco in the Bell rematch.
There starts to be a moral demand to see Haye in front of either Klitschko. You ought not to talk that much without any single basis to support your arguments... The only argument suggested this past weekend is about the force of the K brothers and not the other way around and David still fights that idea - that's it, he's clowning around.
Has Haye fought any top heavyweight boxer? If not then he should do so before demanding a title shot or STFU.
Mormeck ain't no joke at Cruserweight. But at Heavyweight Mormeck would be destroyed, he would not do well. Mormeck is too short, has real poor stanima, and most of all is too easy to hit. Mormeck throws a lot of punches for 6 rounds until he is exhausted, then he is done. At Heavyweight his aggressive style and poor defense would get him Ko'd.
Haye has not beaten a single heavyweight, besides Bonin so that I think he should focus on Two Gunz Barrett at this point. Haye talks too much! Talk is cheap. Peter and his manager Ivaylo Gotzev spoke alot before the fight but afterwards when Vitali went to Peter's corner Gotzev could not say a word. So it seems quite unwise from haye side to run his mouth.
And people think that since Haye 'barely' beat someone who would never be a good Heavyweight, that he could beat any Heavyweight. Go figure. Mormeck would be massacred at Heavyweight. And you know it. Wrong style, poor stanima, undersized, leaky defense .
Yes, totally agree with you there. Still we need to some of Haye at Heavyweight to make a decision on how far he can go, Barrett is a good test.
The more this guy talks, the more I can't stand him. I guess I will never understand why people think he is "charismatic".
He is right. That's the x factor...His speed could score points and frustrate wlad. I don't think he'll ever beat vitali however unless he getse hella lucky.
Haye´s talk leaves me totally cold until he put his money where his mouth is. There´s already too much talk and too little action in the HW scene. Beat some rated fighters, and then we´ll talk about it.
