Can't see Toney ever accepting a fight with Vitali or traveling to Germany.

toney never was elite at hw, he was doing okay against some top 20 fighters, but he was not really a force. if he was elite why didn't he expose sam peter? he also never foungt a guy over 6'3, to my knowledge. to beat vitali you have to be elite or hope that he gets injured during the fight.

He exposed Peter in the first fight. In the second fight we did not see the best Toney as he relied too much on bodybuilding and as consquence lost his upperbody movement.

This discussion is a little premature. If he is in shape and beats the tall and capable Thompson, a lot of your guys might change your pick about Vitali knocking James out. But again, James must first prove himself against Thompson.

He didn't expose **** in the first fight if he exposed him there he wouldn't have trouble doing the same in the rematch. The first fight was close but based on activity and serious punches landed I gave it to Peter. No one got exposed in the first fight.

They gave him an immediate rematch as he damanded and very soon where he came in excellent shape as was clear and HE got exposed there.

Toney exposed Peter in the first fight in similar way Waldo exposed him.
Peter just got outboxed twice there. I already gave you the reason why James did not do well in the rematch.

Toney has no business in the ring with either Klitschko at this point.
He would be spanked beyond the point where it´s funny.

He´s been a disgrace for years.

You're the first one I discuss this fight with that says he got exposed, you need to learn to watch fights properly. I missed your reason to why he lost the rematch but won't bother to track it down as it will obviously include yet another delusional bull**** or excuse that I'd rather not bother with.

waldo won every round besides 5 and 10, but peter should have gotten a point deducted in the fifth. toney made peter look like a improved boxer, but that was just because he didn't have the tools to make him look clumsy and onedimensional as he really is.

With all due respect for your opinion, I have to back the Blade's claim up: Toney did win the first Peter fight convincingly. The fight was somewhat close in the first 6 rounds but rounds 6 to 12 were clearly dominated by Toney. Everybody in the arena -including Peter's manager Gotzev -take a good look at his face before the decision was announced- thought that Toney won the fight. The decision was so controversial that even the WBC ordered an immediate rematch, a premiere for an elimination fight. For whatever reason was, age or false preparation, I clearly acknowledge that Toney lost a vast decision in their rematch.

Toney made him looked like an amateur in that first fight. The colonel scored it 117-111 for Toney. I had it 116-112 Toney.

Peter won the second fight cleanly. Toney did too much weight lifting and as a consequence his upperbody body movement was not there like it used to be.

Toney has been around for 20 years. A lot of fighter wanted to knock him out, nobody has succeeded, there is a reason to that.

There was a window of time Toney woulda beat both Klitschkos, but that window has been slammed shut by father time, Toney a shot fighter now.
