I'm not one of those who believes he has glass chin, but to those who think he does...if he didn't how far could he go?
It's not so much a question of chin alone. To me, the following questions are unanswered when it comes to Haye at HW: - Will his power translate to the elite level at HW? Peter was tauted as the next Tyson in terms of power until he met elite HW's. Even Wlad with his suspect chin takes shots a lot better than most cruiserweights would. - Will he be able to use his speed against the Klitschko - type behemoth fighter? it is one thing to outbox someone smaller or your own size, with the Klitschkos, Dimitrenko, Valuev, Haye would have to punch uphill, a skill he never needed before. - Will his chin and defense prevent him from going into survival mode when he feels real heavyweight punches flying in his direction? We will see....
to be honest i think he would do quite well. the only thing is that the large hw fighters that can take a punch may be able to outjab and take him over the distance.against carl thopson he basically gassed out.guess we will find out soon enough
Haven't you heard of the Hayematrix? These slow heavyweights can't even see him nevermind hit him, he'll be taking them out with any shot he wants.
It is very difficult to get inside on the Klitschko's and i presume Haye will have to eat some leather to get his own shots in so his chin will tested early against Wlad.Povetkin will give us a good idea how a smaller , agressive heavy does against the big boys
