Who would win this one? If styles make fights IMO Cotto has a good chance in this one. Pressuring Williams like Quintana did, would be an effective stratedgy for Miguel. Could be an interesting match up.
quintana countered williams in the 1st fight. he let williams be the pressure fighter and capitalized with straight left hands. i think williams would win this. physical advantages mean a lot and when pw uses them, hes very dangerous. id be rooting for cotto though.
I never reall y thought Cotto could beat Margarito, Mayweather or Williams. i think Williams has his way with Cotto after about 6 rounds. Williams sneaks in those akward uppercuts at close range and hurts Cotto with them. When he backs out long crosses smacks the side of his head.
if cotto manages to get inside with those body shots hel have a good night but if he doesnt itl be difficult for him
If I was Cotto's manger I would keep him far away from Williams. First Williams is huge. Second Williams is an improving fighter who is learning to fight tall and sit on his shots. I believe he could beat Cotto in two ways by simply outworking him and wearing him down like Margo also Williams is an underrated inside fighter he's at home there. So Cotto won't find it easy there or by keeping him at the end of his jab and punches and landing big shots. Either way Cotto will go down because his chin nor stamina is the greatest and he won't be able to stand up to Williams' attack. Williams by UD or late round TKO is the smart pick here.
Another thing if Williams hurts Cotto in this fight he's finished. Williams will unleash hell on him until he either drops Cotto or the ref stops it.
