I watched the lewis & vitali fight on you tube last night! It was a great fight to watch! the two men went at each other...it just reminded me how good lewis was! vatila is the best heavyweight right now...i hope he stays around for a while & maybe after the hayemaker proves himself we'll see another great fight!! 90% of heavyweights are over weight & slow! its good to see a few of them looking like athletes!! yep pa!

First time I have seen the commotion at the end.

Stupid dick, he lost fair and square.

    Never include the word 'seriously'.

  5. Exactly. They stuffed the cut full of that stuff, no way could they send him out like that. Then the doc stopped the fight, so Vitali's camp see that here's a way they can make something of this, maybe get a rematch where pulling out wouldn't have warranted one.

I remember thinking the same when I rewatched the fight. It did look very much like they were pulling out anyway. At first Vitali doesn't do anything then his promoter whispers something in his ear and he jumps up and goes nuts.

The promoter probably told him to kick up a fuss and say how hard done by he was and that he wanted an immediate rematch.

Had the fight gone on much longer, he was getting knocked out, no question. To be fair, his performance in the first six merited a rematch given the outcome - but Lennox was probably 'mentally retired' at that point and probably didn't fancy getting into top shape another time to fight.

Wont happen. LL reaslied that the first time thats why he retired. Remember that uppercut that Vitali just ate? LL was down on points. If it wasnt for those horrific cuts it would have been good night LL :yep

Don't agree, I think that sixth round was the turning of the tide. Nonetheless I think Lewis realised he was slipping and may well have lost the return.

Lewis is too busy turning into Stevie Wonder.

And he's certainly never danced to Don King's tune either.

LL was talking of at least £50m (+ppv revenue share) to even think about this in a previous interview. There is more chance of Tyson fighting Vit than LL.

Lewis is too smart to ever take this fight, and financially he does not need to.

    This fight will never happen.

Hypothetically though, Vitali would stop him. He has been away for too long and he is too rusty.

Yes but if he is offered £50m+ I am sure LL was jump at the chance. He still keeps fit and after a few months training should be able to get through 7/8 rounds.

With regards to ring rust, the same was said about Vit last week and he shook off the rust without any problems.

Lennox Lewis was totally out of shape when he fought Vk, Lennox Lewis bullied and used his physicall strength over Vk in that fight.

"He was bullying him and beating him up, no slick boxing skills from Lennox Lewis none....because he was not in shape to fight his normal/natural fight"
