Lewis just say no. This does nothing for Lewis, and nothing for Klitschko, except more money. Klitschko needs to fight whatever the best there is now, not a guy who hasn't fought in 6 years. Could be Haye (depending on how he does in his next fights) Valuev, Chagaev (however you spell it). If Klitschko wants a good legacy, this ain't going to do it. His time is short, he needs to make the best of it.

i think its personal for klitschko...not so much about money...but he has demons in the basement...unfinished business with lewis...i think thats the angle he's coming from..

Well if they were offering me 44 million to take the fight if I was Lennox, I'd do it then lay down after the first somewhat solid jab connected.

It's not even a matter of Lewis being old or questions about his shape, It's his desire. He barely had it when he was fighting...why would he hop off the couch, train for 9 months, dedicate a large portion of his schedule towards a fight he can't win when his legacy is already secure?

He'd be coming back for a quick payday...and chances are once he felt like enough was enough, he'd take a nap on the canvas.

Let me guess - Vitali has high hopes when watching Lewis saying live on HBO and in the first person that he'll never get back to train or to the ring and that there's nothing else to prove?... Vitali can always face McCall or Rahman and take those Lewis demons out of his thinking box.

    Lewis is escared of Vitali.

    -Agrees to rematch
-Insists that Vitali is cleared by doctor before they fight.
    -Vitali is cleared
-Lewis then chooses Johnson as opponent instead.
-HBO says no, wanting a rematch with Vitali.
    -Lewis retires.

Lewis should bow down to God and thank him for those scraping punches that saved him

If Vitali wants to avenge a loss, maybe he can move down to light heavyweight and fight Chris Byrd again.
    Lewis is retired.
