Holyfield doesn't need some "Dorkmeister" to egg him on so he suffers more brain damage. Only a dork would take the Lord's name in vain then in the same breath pray to the Lord for power.
    Dorkmeister :patsch

God willing, he will win this fight. I hope he does anyway.

Well it's marketable for sure, when Holyfield lost to Sultan Ibgragimov for the WBO title it made Yahoo's Front Page news.

    40 is the new 30.

And I hope that Holyfield wins, so we can have Wlad close the chapter on Evan Fields.

I know that Holyfield is old, but wait 15-20 years and fans won't care anymore (just like they don't care about approx 48 yro Archie Moore vs Ali), but instead just remember that the Klitschkos beat an ATG.

Having said that, let me actually point out that Holyfield looked impressive vs Ibragimov (thank you, HGH!).

Both, Valuev and Holyfield are featherfisty, so the fight might go 12 rounds, which then would favour the more elastic Holyfield.

Holyfields record leaves much to be desired, so he could pep it up by beating Valuev (which would be (along with Ruiz, Bowe and Tyson) his greatest win):

In his entire heavyweight career Holyfield fought 30+ times against non-bums, of which he could KO approx 10 (TEN!) and lost to 9. This abysmal KO ratio is typical for natural cruisers.

Not too impressive record, but his non-bum opponents have a high quality so let's not nitpick too much.

I believe Holyfield can do it (thank you, Billy Graham!)

normally i`d think it was a joke, but given that holyfield has done so much for the sport and is in such monetary trouble, and i think valuev is not a proper, skilled and respected world champion..... **** it, leave it happen!

What if he wins, have you thought about that? Do you want the old man to face one of the Klits? They'd maul him. Wald would probably let him live but what if he gets put in with Vitlay?
