I also want Jones Jr to win. NOt that i don't like Calzaghe. Maybe i just want a wonderful story. ONe of the most entertaining fighter of history who turn back the clock to beat an undefeated p4p fighter. Not like Mayweather - De La Hoya, this fight can save boxing (or at least, put it back on the map for a while). News all over the world would talk about such victory for Jones Jr.
I'm heistantly picking Calazage, maybe RJJ has 1 last great perfromance though, I defo want him to pull this want out
I am on this express. Jones knocking out an unexpecting Calzaghe in the 8th round, flashing his old power.:deal
we can always hope that RJJ will win. he is supposed to be retired by now. but i'm still hoping for a last hurrah from RJJ!
He WAS a great fighter. He was shot 4 years ago. 3 losses out of last 6. 2 of which were by brutal KOs. Beating an old washed up retired former jr. welterweight in Trinidad means nothing.I'd like to see Jones but its not happening, he throws one punch at a time and his timing and reflexes are off! If Jones was anywhere near his prime Calzaghe would never have fought him.
I would love for the king to regain his crown. Im all for Roy Jones in this one. He was one of my heros growing up. I hope he can turn back the clock and have one last moment of greatness.
Roy's legacy means more to boxing than Calzaghe's legacy. It would be a great way for him to go out. I'm all aboard! :happy:happy
We just need to hear Teddy Atlas say Calzaghe will win and then the masturbators can already start masturbating about a RJJ win..:nut
Despite Joes greatness he is perfect for Roy. I feel if Roy feels good going into this fight that nothing can stop him. You just cant write off the most gifted fighter the sport has seen, and nor can you write off the greatest fighter of a generation.
