I know its unfashionable to say but here we go....i like Joe Calzaghe, i respect his acheivements, i respect him as a decent human being and i like watching him fight .
I hope he puts on another great showing against Ole Roy and does his country and himself proud.
Most of all i hope he rams the ignorant taunts of his irrational haters down their throats and puts another great fighters career belatedly to bed.
Don't be ashamed, show your support, and lets see how many cocks we pick up on the way.

He will beat him easily. No train required. Choo-choo.

Did you know that Sam Langford was basiclly blind when he knocked out all time gret MW Tiger Flowers in two? Did you know that it was not possible to lay money against Mike Tyson when he took on Buster Douglas? Did you know that it was possible to lay money on Benn to beat McClellan - for as much as 40-1?

This idea that you have that boxing is over before it is over is quite depressing.

Yes, I mean, this should be fairly obvious to anyone.

Benn was never 40-1, that's not true. Benn was WBC champion at a higher weight than McClennan, and a known quality KO artist. Benn was the underdog, but to say he was ever 40-1 with any sane bookmaker is ludicrous. 40-1 in a two-man contest?! You wouldn't get those odds on Amir Khan fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr right now. I doubt Benn was even 6-1.

Anyway that's irrelevant. If you find realism depressing, get ready to become a whole lot more depressed after November 8th. I adore RJJ, but I know the score in reality. Think with your head and not with your heart.

You could back him at 40-1 to stop G-man in any of the twelve rounds.

My source is Dark Trade by Donald McRae who is a respected writer and journalist. He is clear that these odds were available in the States. What is your source that this is "not true...ludicrous"?

What odds would you say were acceptable in this "two man contest"?

My head tells me Joe will win, i've been pretty clear about that. It's your "realism", in fact the worst kind of fantasy, that a win for one of the men in this "two man contest" is impossible that reaks of unreality.

Oh, double source, I like when that happens.
