For me, Naseem Hamed. For suplexing one of his opponents to saying things like "Who gives a **** what the crowd thinks?" during his fight with Calvo. Yes, the same crowd that payed your salary you piece of ****. Also just for his general arrogance, that annoying smirk he always seemed to have, and for being a gutless coward when faced with a real challenge. My eyes were very dry when he retired.
Lots of guys made careers out of it. Ali made it dramatic and rehearsed.. Camacho made it a circus with flashy flamboyance and general ******edness was pretty funny and annoying.. Hamed was just an annoying and flashy copycat. Guys that have been genuinely funny have been James Toney and Mayorga. Some of it was rehearsed.. But far more entertaining than Ali.. Ali comes across to me as over-rehearsed, over-acted and cheesy.. Like a book full of bad pickup lines.
:yep His choreographed dance routines with Nelly, screeching like a velociraptor, wailing like a girl after wins, and that's just outside of the ring Inside it he's a feather fisted, glass jawed runner who "wins" by landing soft, ineffective taps and running away and holding. It made me sick when people would champion his pure boxing skills. His "win" against Mayorga was a disgrace. It wasn't great technical boxing or defensive wizardry, it was pot shot and run, and fall to the canvas every time the opponent gets you in a corner. It was ***** and moan to the ref all night and narrowly "win" because of point deduction. I was elated when Zab knocked his ass out
