Does Mosley have enough left to succesfully apply a hit and run strategy against Margarito?

Mosley couldn't stick and move away from Valuev at this point, never mind Margarito.

I think Mosely is tougher and harder to rock than Cotto so he might do something that night but I really can't see past Margarito UD.

Doubt it. Mosley's never been that sort of fighter.

He'd probably be best off doing a stick and clinch strategy.

You did see Margarito jogging after Cotto, didn't you?

You did see Mosley struggling to get out of the way of Mayorga's wild swings, didn't you?

He has zero chance of sticking and moving past Margarito.

Yes . . . only for the first 5 rounds . . . he can't do that for the whole 12 rounds against Margo. He'll run out of steam . . . Margo cuts the ring very well.

That has never been his style of fighting. Mosley has always been a puncher with fast hands. He has never really "boxed" anyone. Just when he was younger with his speed and reflexes he got labeled as a boxer, when he reality he was just too quick for most of his opponents.

A fighter can only change his style so much. This just reminds me of Pacfans claiming Pacquiao will "outbox" DLH. When in the hell has Pacquiao ever "outboxed" anyone?

I respect Mosley immensely for taking the fight, but Margarito is not a good style matchup for him. High output pressure fighter than can punch and has a granite chin. Mosley is not enough of a boxer to beat him.

Mosley got up on his toes and tried to box a little bit, but he wasn't trying to stick and move whatsoever.

He has the ability but don't think he has the tools anymore, he will run out of gas way sooner in this one than he did against Cotto, Margarito will be on him all night with dedicated pressure nonstop, he needs the stamina to keep landing and moving and I just don't see Shane having that at this point.

Stick and move is alot more like what we saw from Cotto in the late rounds against Mosley.

i think alot of people dont give margo much credit on his punching power. watching him he has like 3 different types of punches that vary in power. he has like a nudging type of uppercut to score points when he's backed up an opponent, but after that he usually opens up. when he opens up is when he's lethal. at some point even if mosley was sticking and moving margos gonna catch him, and instinctively mosley's gonna fight back because he ain't no runner. fighters with pride have no chance. that's why seemingly floyd might beat him

I like Mosley but the only way he's going to hurt Margo is with a club :****off
