I wasnt much of a Taylor fan either until he fought Pavlik I wanted him to win but I knew Pavlik would probably be too hungry to lose I could tell when I saw him fight Miranda but I was hoping his predictability and less than amazing footwork would lead to a big counter knockout for Taylor which he deserved to silence his critics and give him the biggest stamp of his career in which he has fought so many great fighters.
It is far from racist. I am as white/American as it gets. I always am routing or the American over the Euros. But if Abraham fought Pavlik I would want Abraham to KFTO Pavlik. As far as white/black, i never back someone do to their color. I am white, but my favorite fighter is black (and not even American!). So, the more I think about it, it is 2 things I dont like. First off, Pavlik doesnt look like a boxer. Hell, he doest even look like an athlete. His looks bother me. But more then that... I think it IS the hype. I have been watching this guy before almost anyone on here probably knew who he was. He always bothered me, especially his few fans. But as the 'hype' grew, so did the fans. First the were all from Youngstown, but they grew and grew. Many many first time posters came on here due to Pavlik. So, yea, he is good for boxing and drew some good fans. But he just never grew on me. As a matter of fact I dislike him more and more as his popularity grows. Maybe its 'cause I feel in some way he 'stole' the spotlight from Miranda. OK, he didnt steal it, he beat the **** out of him and took it away. Now I want someone (Hopkins) to beat the **** out of him.... Sorry to be such an ******* about it.... just my feelings. :good

I am a big boxing fan, but just dont feel the need to come on here much to express my opnions. Most of my input in the past has been to spread the news of Miranda for those who cared (since I have the inside scoop). And to give my opinion, which was in hindsight incorrect. It wont be that easy to get rid of me. Miranda is fighting Nov 11th and then again in Jan. After these two fights he has been promised another title shot. So...... maybe......maybe, I will start spreading the good word again since the hype will return. So do the math. We all know Miranda destroys the lower tier opponents. He will build some more unwarranted hype and get his title shot. He wins that and the you will have to put up with me for sure. Get a life... There is more to the world then boxing. There's NOTHING, I repeat NOTHING to dislike about Pavlik. He comes to fight, knocks people out, doesn't slag anyone off, is as down to earth and you can get, and his fights are never dull. In case you missed it the first time.... There's NOTHING, I repeat NOTHING to dislike about Pavlik.
