If it wasnt for the WBA, Naz would have been the 1st unified champ

I'll never forgive the WBA for that. they didnt want their belt unified with the other belts after Hamed beat Wilfredo Vasquez. If the WBA hadnt delibrately stripped Vazquez of the belt, Hamed would have been the first ever unified champ. Why would an organisation deny a fighter a chance to do that? :? he would have held the WBO, WBC, IBF and WBA belts.

He would've won all the belts during his whole stay @ 126, but I don't think he would've had them all at one time.

NAZ has ownership to about 7 belts. He won the WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF, WBU, IBO and I think a few others.

Just because he didn't own them at the same time or the guy had to vacate prior to fighting him, doesn't mean they aren't his.

The WBA did actually award him the title. There is a picture of him with all the belts, let me see if I can find it.

No, I dont think the WBA did. I believe that the black belt is the WBO Super Belt he received for his 10 title defenses.

    This is the WBA belt!

The WBA is just a big belt.

All the orgs tweak the designs of their belt every now and again.

This is from boxing chronicle.com...it sure does look like the WBA belt. I think Naseem is the only one to get the belt, b/c surely Calzaghe shouldve gotten it too

Hamed must now not only defeat future opponents, but fight crime as well. What? Upon victory, the WBO crowned Hamed a SUPER-CHAMPION. He was presented with a brand new, specially made black WBO belt. What makes a SUPER-CHAMPION? Michael Buffer announced that it was bestowed on Hamed for 10 successful title defenses, but I suspect it had something more to do with thanking Hamed for sticking with the upstart sanctioning body instead of playing ball with the Big Three.

I think it is clear that the belt is a spitting image of the WBA belt.

The WBA did infact not allow him to fight for it alongside the WBO, however awarded it to him later.

The WBA also stripped Michalczewski after only a few days of holding the WBo and WBA belts together (and the IBF) when he became linear champion after beating Virgil Hill. Boxing politics can often be a big, steamy pile of corrupt garbage.

    Does it really matter???

This clown got exposed when he finally stepped up to an elite level fighter.:yep He's a joke, who after getting waxed, ran away rather than take his turn getting waxed by the other elite's.

I never fail to be amazed at how his fans STILL cling to the HYPE that was Hamed:lol: Never mind that he got tarred and feathered vs a real fighter, just keep those nuts in a firm grasp. Yes he had a good punch at that weight, but that was it.

Nah, not bitter, I was extremly happy to see the end of the BULL**** that was Hamed the Unbeatable:lol:

Too much hype, and not enough real skill, doesnt equal a real UNIFED Champ IMO. Like I said the truth was DISPLAYED vs MAB and for those that choose to ignore?? Have a happy, hairy, time of it:hi:
